The new features just keep on coming! Today we’re excited to announce we’ve added first-class support for animated GIFs in Facebook posts.
Facebook recently started supporting animated GIFs in the newsfeed, which is a great way for companies doing branding-oriented posts to increase their engagement. However, Facebook did not make it as simple as attaching a GIF to a picture post. (If you’ve tried to upload a GIF directly to Facebook, you may have noticed that Facebook removes the animation when published.)
But we’ve made it simple with Gain. Just create a new Facebook post, then click the “Add animated GIF” button to upload your GIF. That’s it! We even give you the ability to edit the caption shown under the image.
