Clients are first alerted to any content waiting for their approval through GAIN email notifications.


These notification emails include a direct link to the pending content on GAIN. By clicking the link clients are logged in automatically without needing to create or remember a login password.

Approving Posts 

Desktop Version

If your clients are reviewing content via the desktop version of GAIN, they will see a list of all posts pending their approval along with a preview of any attached media, and any post details like the publishing date, post tags, and any audience targeting preferences.

Using the desktop version, clients can also switch the post layout to see how the post would appear on mobile or as an ad.


Clients can either approve or request revisions on each post. Clicking the down arrow icon on the approve button allows clients to approve the post with a comment that will be visible to the agency. This is an ideal way for a client to say, “I approve this with the following change…” By clicking “Request Revision,” they can leave notes, feedback, and any edits. These exact post previews assure the client that when they approve content, they see exactly what they are approving.

Mobile Version

They will receive an email notification when content is ready for approval, and the email will include a direct link to the mobile version of GAIN where they can approve or revise posts with a tap – again, no passwords or logins are required.

Notifications Inside GAIN


Clients receive notifications that content is ready for review in a few other ways besides email notifications. If they are already approving content on the GAIN platform, they will be alerted to more pending content through the checkmark notification in the platform sidebar. The number attached to the checkmark shows the total posts awaiting their approval.

GAIN Monthly Editorial Calendar

The GAIN calendar offers clients and stakeholders a complete look at their social campaigns. Clients can oversee content from the past day, week, month, or even year by just flipping through their monthly calendar. Social posts in any stage, i.e., revising, pending, approved, and scheduled, are all visible in the client content calendar as well. An important function of the GAIN calendar is that clients only see the content that is pertinent to them. This means clients will never see draft posts or content in another approver’s queue.


Pop-up Post Preview

If your client wants to take a closer look at a post on the calendar, they can easily click on the individual post in the calendar for a preview.


Clients can preview the post exactly as it will appear when published with pixel-perfect quality along with any links in the post copy. Clients can also review details of the post’s status as well as the publishing date and any audience targeting preferences.

Calendar Labels


Calendar labels make it easy for clients to review content related to a particular event or campaign. These labels can cover days, weeks, or months in the calendar.

The labels are color-coded and visible above the posts. To read any details about a campaign, clients can click a label, and the full details will pop up. Using calendar labels allows your clients to easily review campaign events from the past, or review campaign events that have yet to begin. Future calendar labels can also play as reminders of important events for both clients and agencies.
